If you like hiking and taking on foot ... then heres a place to be because in actual fact .. Gurue is located at the base of the 2nd highest mountian in Mozambique, Namuli - 2419m above sea level - and Gurue is known to be a great starting point to start your adventure. Although if you want to climb this mountain ... you will have to get permission from chief of a local tribe who consider the great mountain, sacred! Usually a donation such as rice, flour or Sorghum will do the trick and the chief will give you permission. one of the tribe members will most likely join & guide you up the mountain.
