Boat, Jetski and beach licenses can be obtained from Maritime, which is next to the garage in Bilene (compulsory), cost ± R200 for one month.

Mozambique has a large coastline stretching some 2700km. It is rated amongst the best in the world for salt- water fly-fishing and game fishing. Some of the best whale and dolphin watching is to be done in Mozambique.
Bilene is a small town situated approximately 200km north of Maputo and is positioned on an 11km lagoon. There are various restaurants and activities available in Bilene.

MEDICAL:
In the event of a medical emergency, there is a government clinic, however major medical emergencies will require evacuation, so please take extra care and play safe! There is an airstrip just outside Bilene, details of which are available on request.

GROCERIES AND SUPPLIES:
Fresh fish and prawns can be bought from locals at the NHABANGA village.(when available) There is a market in Bilene where basic foodstuff can be purchased such as tomatoes, onions, bread and vegetables. Bilene also offers other basic good such as bread,long life milk,eggs etc.

PETROL:
PLEASE NOTE THERE IS NO PETROL/ DIESEL AT VILLA N' BANGA. Petrol is available at ± R11.00p/l. Diesel at + R10.50p/l in Bilene. Unleaded petrol is available in Bilene and Macia. TELEPHONES: N'BANGA HAS CELL PHONE SIGNAL and Telephone facilities are available at the local post office in Bilene, open from 7am – 7pm, where international call can be made.

MALARIA:
Malaria is still prevalent in Mozambique, so please consult your doctor/pharmacist for advice on prophylaxis.

LAUNDRY:
The locals for a fee can do this, however please bring your own detergent.

STAFF REMUNERATION:
Although this is not compulsory; any contributions would be highly appreciated and may be given to the manager directly or to the staff individually.

GENERAL:
Temperatures in the summer months can reach as high 45°c, so be prepared. Make sure that you are equipped with adequate sunscreen, sunglasses, hats, etc.

RULES AND REGULATIONS
Any loss or damage to property will be at the expense of the guest.
A deposit is required on arrival.
No vehicles or 4 wheelers beyond the designated signs.
No vehicles or 4 wheelers on grass or garden paths.
No candles, for your safety and others.
No littering.
Consideration and care must be shown for the safety of others including, fauna and flora both in the water and on land.
Electrical appliances containing heating elements, eg: hair dryers and kettles are permitted as we do have ELECTRICITY.
Management will not be held responsible for any theft/loss of property whatsoever or any injury that may occur.

Payment for Reservation for Villa N’Banga
Due to constant enquiries a 50% deposit is required within 72 hours to confirm the booking.
Full payment needed 60 days prior to arrival.
Should a cancellation be received 60 days prior to arrival,you will forfeit 50% of the monies paid to date.
Should a cancellation be received less than 60 days prior to arrival, you will forfeit 100% of the monies paid to date.
THE WHOLE PLACE: A refundable deposit of R1000 will be required for loss or breakages on arrival.
PRIVATE TENT: R300 DEPOSIT REQUIRED
No refund will be given on early departures.
If the amount of persons exeedes the amount of beds an additional fee will be applicable: R135 ADULTS CHILDREN: 5-12 Years @50% (please bring own bedding,a mattress will be provided)

Traveling time from Nelspruit to Bilene is + 4 hours.
Komatipoort to Maputo is + 100km. You will go through 2 tollgates, the first is + 50km from Komatipoort, the second is just before you enter Maputo.
Payment is in Meticas, Rands or US$.
From Maputo you must follow the directions to Xai-Xai for 165km to a town called Macia (BP on left) At Macia turn right off the main road to Bilene. + 33km to Bilene.
Follow the map to a restaurant, called Chin-Chin turn left.
